Imam Youssef Mekawy is a dedicated Da’wah leader with nearly a decade of service—from his early years as an Assistant Imam in Iowa to his role as an Imam and Youth Director in Kansas City. He holds a four‑year degree from Al‑Azhar University, a second bachelor’s in Human Resources Management, and an MBA in organizational development and coaching.
He currently serves as a Career Coach at the University of Missouri–Kansas City and as an Imam with the Furqaan Foundation. His work blends spiritual guidance, community leadership, and professional development.
In 2023, he founded Ummah Career Lab to empower Muslim youth through mentorship and interactive college and career development workshops.
